Since 2002, we have led the effort to inspire and empower women toward self-sufficiency in Hawaii.

Our Mission

Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC), a compassion ministry of national WMU, equips women, in a Christian context, for life and employment. Through CWJC sites across the State of Hawaii, women each year gain hope in their future.

Since Christian Women’s Job Corps started in in 1997, 40,000 women have been touched through the program in nearly 200 sites and, collectively, 160,000 volunteers have served 200,000,000 hours in the ministry... CWJC is about courageous women fighting for their families and their future.
— Linda Cooper, Past President of national WMU
